Gate valve application
Gate valve, the opening and closing member is a gate, the direction of movement of the gate is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid, gate valve can only be fully open and fully closed, can not be used for regulation and throttling.
Gate valve classification
①Divided by gate structure: wedge type and parallel type.
Wedge gates are available in 3 configurations: single gates, double gates and flexible gates.
②Divided by type of structure: flat gate valve and knife gate valve.
Gate valve characteristics
① Low flow resistance.
② Less effort to open and close.
③ Water hammer is less likely to occur.
④ The medium can flow to both sides of any direction, easy to install.
