Carbon Steel Ball Valves

Carbon steel is a common material used for industrial ball valves, but what is the difference between it and stainless steel? His appearance is the most obvious difference. It does not have the silver chrome that makes stainless steel such an iconic image.
In fact, carbon steel ball valves usually have a slender, matt texture more similar to cast iron.
However, with only a few significant variations in quality, carbon steel ball valves are made from a high quality metal alloy similar to stainless steel.
Carbon steel has a slightly lower melting point and is less chemically resistant, but due to its high carbon content it is more ductile and stable and has a greater ability to distribute heat.
The carbon steel ball valve range is designed for applications where a strong and efficient output is required.
Carbon steel ball valves are designed for use in a fully open or closed role. Depending on the implementation, throttling of carbon steel ball valves may result in early seal damage and/or inability to press down on the valve handle.
